A cut-case display is a type of point of purchase material used to display products inside a brick and mortar store. This type of display is actually the case (box) that the products came in. Instead of placing other displays, retailers can simply cut the case, either in the front or on the sides to show the products.
Of course, it is easier and cheaper to display products like this because it keeps them together and you don’t have to invest in other types of POSM.
A cut-case display can be used for multiple types of products, from beverages (bottles of wine, beer, cider, etc.) to candy or instant coffee.
Of course, if you want to amaze your customers, a cut-case display can’t be your first choice. While it has a simple, organized look, this type of display doesn’t attract the attention of shoppers. For a better shot at engaging customers, you might want to choose floor graphics, digital or robotic displays.
